Cab Tours Belfast

Our Belfast Cab Tour Guides have over 20 years’ experience, telling the stories of the Northern Ireland Troubles, what it was like to live through it and how far we have come. People prefer Cab Tours Belfast because we are an alliance of both Catholic and Protestant drivers. We are uniquely placed to give a fuller picture of our history and shared future.

The conflict in Northern Ireland, during the late 20th century, is sometimes known as ‘The Troubles’. Over 3,600 people were killed and thousands more injured. During a period of 30 years, many acts of violence were carried out by paramilitaries and the security forces. Due to our past, Northern Ireland has become one of the world’s biggest open-air art galleries. You will see countless wall murals painted on the side of people’s homes and, more famously, on the International Wall.

Our Belfast Cab Tours are suitable for small & large groups, including wheelchair users. If you have any specific requirements, please be sure to tell us at the time of booking. We can collect you from and drop you off at various locations in Belfast. We offer airport transfer and limousine services.

Our most popular tour is the Belfast Murals Tour. This is a political tour of West Belfast’s Shankill Road and Falls Road. The tour begins in the back of the cab. Your Cab Tours Belfast guide will give you background information about ‘The Troubles’ in Ireland.

You will then make your way along the Loyalist Shankill Road, Republican Falls Road and the ‘Peace Walls’ that separate them. Your guide will explain the history of each and the stories behind the murals you will see. You will have time to take souvenir photos and ask any burning questions.

The Giant’s Causeway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is famous for its folklore tales involving the Irish giant, Finn McCool. If this wasn’t enough, the tour takes in many areas of outstanding, natural beauty.

Game of Thrones fans will be in their element when they visit the world famous Dark Hedges (King’s Road) and Ballintoy Harbour (Iron Islands). You will also visit Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and the Bushmills Whiskey distillery. This is the pinnacle tour when visiting Ireland.

We can take the uncertainty out of your trip by collecting you from Belfast International Airport or George Best City Airport.  Some guests also enjoy the luxury of our Limousine Service.

Please contact us as both services need to be booked in advance. Thank you.
